, raised in rural Olivia, Minnesota, has found her way to Des Moines, Iowa in order to attend Drake University and study Magazine Journalism and Writing. Her last six summers were spent out in the fields breeding hybrid corn, which she believes, has given her a greater understanding and appreciation for those who man the land. Next semester at Drake, she is excited to be a Resident Assistant, a writer for Drake Magazine, and a junior. She also enjoys spending time with her friends at church and volunteering to coach youth soccer and cheerleading teams. She hopes to stay in Des Moines and eventually work for Meredith Corporation and continue involvement with her church.
is currently a journalism student at the University of Iowa. A full-time Arts & Culture reporter for The Daily Iowan, Cole is also a feature reporter for Owlnotes.com and a talk show host on 89.7 KRUI. Born in West Des Moines, Cole was constantly involved in the Central Iowa community and has witnessed and participated in many of these “green” efforts first-hand. A mean ping-pong player and coffee-connoisseur, his side hobbies include listening to various podcasts, orienting distraught first-year Iowa students and attending various concerts.
is currently a junior at the University of Iowa. Although she is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin she has found great opportunities in Iowa. Morgan is enrolled in the Journalism School and is the treasurer of the Society of Professional Journalists. She hopes to make a career of magazine writing in her future. |
